The European Union is leading the way in transforming the fashion industry through its Strategy for Sustainable and Circular Textiles, part of the EU Green Deal and Circular Economy Action Plan. This initiative aims to ensure that by 2030, textile products sold in the EU are:

  • Longer-lasting, recyclable, and made from recycled fibers

  • Free of hazardous substances

  • Produced with respect for social rights and the environment
